Behind the name A7AB is a LED-LCD projector by Caiwei, whose main features include 90 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 50000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 34.2 years at 4 hours a day. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. A look at the light output reveals: The 90 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 96 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 64 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Caiwei.
