Behind the name A10AB is a LED-LCD projector by Caiwei, whose main features include 595 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 9000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. An LED lifespan of 50000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model, covering an estimated 34.2 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. A look at the light output reveals: The 595 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 248 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 165 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. The projector was released in 2023 and is officially no longer distributed by Caiwei.
