With the S2280, ASK Proxima offers a LED-LCD projector that features 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3500:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 128 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 307 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2012, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
