Based on DLP technology, the Toshiba TDP wx5400 projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 5400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2400:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 747 cm can be illuminated with 5400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 498 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Toshiba.
