Behind the name TDP EW25 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Toshiba, whose main features include 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to Toshiba, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 120 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 518 cm can be illuminated with 2600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 345 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
