Based on LCD technology, the Samsung SP M205W device delivers 2000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 500:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
