According to Samsung, the SP-P310MK Pocket Imager model provides 50 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 alongside a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 10000 hours, which translates to 6.8 years with 4 hours of daily use. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Samsung.

The projection is too dark. The screen width should be reduced.
Akku optional Small and light for on the go. The Samsung Pocket Imager: the ultra-portable projection system with LED backlight. It impresses not only with a high contrast value of 1000:1, but also with an exceptionally long lamp life of more than 10,000 hours. The optional battery allows it to be operated completely independently of the mains for up to 2.5 hours, making it the ideal partner for presentations.
I was first won over by the LED technology after I had broken many a beamer bulb. I always bought a new used projector on Ebay - a lot of junk. Then I read about this device and it convinced me. It‘s normally hidden away on the bookshelf in our bedroom. The picture is impressive! Brightness, contrast and black level are impressive. The picture diagonal is approx. 120 cm and that‘s enough for the purpose. In the summer I took it with me in my camper van. I used a stretched canvas as a screen, connected the sound via the car radio and a small portable DVD player - great, nobody has such a large picture in a motorhome! To top it off, the next day I promised the children an open-air movie in the evening. No sooner said than done! I taped the 2m diagonal screen to the side of the camper van, fitted the projector with a battery, connected the DVD player and connected a modern portable radio (from JVC I think) with a big bass booster for the sound and placed it under the screen. When it was dark we started. I popped in an old Herbie movie and the kids came into the cinema with their folding chairs. As time went on, there were more and more - including lots of adults! Perfect, and without a power socket! But it has to be dark. The projector should actually get 100 points, but it‘s very expensive and I think over 200 euros for the battery is steep.
