The SP H500AE model is a LED-DLP projector from Samsung, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at WPAL 1024 x 576. According to Samsung, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 249 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 166 cm. Since entering the market in 2004, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
