With the Ares 8K, DreamVision offers a LCD projector that features 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 8000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 909 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 606 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 29 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
