The S500wi is a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Dell, whose specifications list 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2300:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2500 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 3200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 575 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 383 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
