The Dell 7609WU is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 3850 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution alongside a contrast of 2700:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding projection size, the value of 3850 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 630 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 420 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Dell.

Picture 1A, not really suitable for transportation
Have had the device since December 2010, use it for presentations of software demos with very large space requirements and a radiologist friend for presentations of X-ray images of all kinds, among other things, and we are very satisfied with it. Resolution, brightness (no darkening necessary) and contrast are 1A and were regularly demonstrated in comparison with the other projectors at the customer‘s. It was annoying that there was and is no bag for it and I had to look for one myself, even if the device is of course not intended for mobile use: Due to the size, the search was very tedious and ended with a pilot‘s case, which I had to line with foam myself. Hence the devaluation by 0.5 points.
