The XJ-UT352W model from Casio combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 56 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 601 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 401 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
