As a projector, the Casio XJ M245 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 2500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1800:1. An LED lifespan of 20000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
