A projector from Appotronics is the AL-UH535A, whose 3D-Laser-DLP model delivers 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 100000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 50 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of Appotronics's current product range.
