The projector D940VX by JAVES utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2400:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 571 cm can be illuminated with 4300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 381 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by JAVES.
