The hardware properties of the ILA 230SC manufactured by Hughes-JVC include 3400 ANSI lumens, a UXGA 1600 x 1200 resolution and a contrast value of 950:1. According to Hughes-JVC, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 3400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Hughes-JVC's current lineup.
