This projector is named DBOX02 Pro, comes from Dangbei, and its data sheet shows 2500 ANSI lumens and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 24 decibels.
