The Aetherion Pro model from Awol Vision combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 3250 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 40 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. Regarding projection size, the value of 3250 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 579 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 386 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Additionally, thanks to Google TV, the model is network-capable and can be used without external playback devices. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
