The LTV-2500 model from Awol Vision combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 25000 hours – calculating to 17.1 years at four hours of use per day. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 50 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Android TV is integrated as a smart platform, enabling direct access to streaming services like Netflix or YouTube. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 27 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling.
