As a projector, the Aopen PV11 combines DLP technology with a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480, and is additionally specified with 100 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1000:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. A look at the light output reveals: The 100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 102 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 68 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 25 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. Since entering the market in 2021, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
