As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 1100 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 337 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 225 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Android TV is integrated as a smart platform, enabling direct access to streaming services like Netflix or YouTube. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast, Airplay and Chromecast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. With a value of only 26 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2024, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.

I tested the Wanbo X5 Pro in a ceiling-mounted setup with a 130-inch projection. Unfortunately, the image showed visible pixelation and noticeably soft edges, especially in the corners. The built-in sound system is acceptable for casual use but clearly in the lower range in terms of audio quality. The fan noise is uneven and becomes distracting over time. Additionally, the software feels sluggish and unresponsive at times. Overall, its a decent projector for the price, especially for someone just getting started. However, the limitations become apparent rather quickly, and you may find yourself wanting to upgrade sooner than expected.
