The Vivitar DP 1200X is a LCD projector offering 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 1300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 314 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 209 cm. This is a discontinued model that is no longer officially distributed by Vivitar.
