The projector Y1 by TMY utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 570 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 15000 hours of runtime – equivalent to a usable life of 10.3 years at 4 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. Looking at practical performance, up to 243 cm can be illuminated with 570 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 162 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
