Designed for the Short Distance sector, the PJ WXC4660 model from Ricoh features 4000 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 500:1. An LED lifespan of 20000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 54 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
