The hardware properties of the MC-WU5505 manufactured by Maxell include 5200 ANSI lumens, a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution and a contrast value of 10000:1. According to Maxell, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A look at the light output reveals: The 5200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 733 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 489 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Maxell's current product range.
