The projector X7 Gold by LYNCAST utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 1173 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 18000:1 at a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model, covering an estimated 20.5 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 454 cm can be illuminated with 1173 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 303 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
