With the MP2000 Pro, Hewlett Packard offers a DLP projector that features 500 ANSI lumens and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. Hewlett Packard lists a runtime of 25000 hours for the LED in this projector – equivalent to a usable life of 17.1 years at 4 hours a day. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in LED lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 227 cm can be illuminated with 500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 151 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2021 and is officially no longer distributed by Hewlett Packard. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
