Based on DLP technology, the EZCast Beam J2 device delivers 300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WVGA 854 x 480 and a contrast of 5000:1 as a projector. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 20000 hours of runtime – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. Looking at practical performance, up to 176 cm can be illuminated with 300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 117 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Since the projector supports Miracast, Airplay and DLNA screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of EZCast's current product range.
