Also, I‘ve had quite a few projectors, including newer models, but the Compaq MP2800 has given me the best picture on the wall so far.I only bought it recently and I‘m really happy with it.The menu navigation is also very easy to use.Furthermore, I didn‘t need any instructions for the Compaq because you can get to grips with it in no time at all thanks to its compact design and few buttons. The only thing that puts you off is the high purchase price if you can still find it in any store, as it is no longer manufactured, and secondly, the purchase of a lamp is also very daunting as I think it is one of the most expensive replacement lamps at 655€ per lamp. But fortunately there are also people who remanufacture such lamps and then get them for a quarter of the price. all in all I agree with the test results that have been given about the Compaq MP2800.
