The BlackWing Three MK2018 model from CineVersum combines LCOS technology in the High-End Homecinema sector with 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600000:1 and a native UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4500 hours before a replacement is necessary. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.2 years. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 454 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 303 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. With a value of only 20 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by CineVersum.
