As a projector, the Aurzen BOOM air combines LCD technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 500:1. The manufacturer specifies a durability of 30000 hours for the LED light source – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Looking at practical performance, up to 176 cm can be illuminated with 300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 117 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
