The Akiyo O4 is a LCD projector offering 600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 176 cm can be illuminated with 600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 117 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels.
