The basic data of the Optoma HCPro-5400 includes 5000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 as well as a contrast of 4500000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports optional Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels.
