A brief introduction to the Aurora Pro: The NexiGo short-throw 3D laser DLP projector offers 2400 Ansi lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a laser service life of 20000 hours, which converts to over 13.7 years at 4 hours per day. The projector also offers an integrated media player that can be used to play files directly. As it is a short-throw projector, the projector can be positioned very close to the wall. For a 2 m wide image, the projector only needs to be 47 cm away from the screen. The model recognizes screen mirroring signals, making it possible to play videos with high resolution and surround sound directly from a smartphone, tablet or PC (Android, Windows and iOS) via Wi-Fi. Another extra is that the projector can be connected to external wireless speakers using the Bluetooth function. Playback of 1080P and 4K as well as 3D is also no problem for the projector, meaning that all Blu-ray formats currently on offer can be recognized by the projector. The model built in 2023 is no longer offered by NexiGo, but is still a popular projector in our database.
