With the MD 30055, manufacturer Medion offers a home cinema DLP projector with SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. An image width of up to 337 cm is possible. However, the image should be smaller in room light. We recommend max. 225 cm. The model was built by Medion in 2005 and is no longer current, but is still very popular in our projector database.

PS3 |
|
Connecting a PS3 is no problem. Simply set the video signal of the PS3 to RGB and connect the RCA cable. Since it‘s not an HD projector, the picture naturally grays (which never stopped me when I had visitors).

I‘ve had the MD 30055 projector for a long time and it works great! Now I‘ve got a Playstation 3 that I‘d like to connect to the projector... Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how?

MD30055 Great value for money |
|
I bought the first MD30055 projector at the end of 2005 and it offers great value for money. The lamp life so far is incredible (no worse performance so far!): 3 x resets and just under 9000h so far on ECO!!!

Have been using the projector for 3 1/2 years now. No problems!
Now I have to slowly change the lamp (2800 h) because the brightness is decreasing.
A really good device.

The projector is absolutely great for home use: bright, easy to use and quiet to boot. I bought it last week at Aldi for just 599 euros - there‘s nothing to complain about. After all, if you want to drive a small car, you don‘t set the standards of a luxury car....

I think the projector is really great - even in Eco mode it delivers a perfect picture - the lamp life will therefore be very long!

Which screen do you recommend for the projector? One in 4:3 or 16:9 format? What is considered optimal?
