As a projector for the Standard-Portabel sector, the Formovie S5 is equipped with 1100 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 1500:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
