The short-throw MX823ST 3D BrilliantColor DLP projector from Benq has 3200 Ansi lumens, a contrast of 13000:1 and an XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a lamp life of 4000 hours, which converts to over 5.5 years at 2 hours per day. As it is a short-throw projector, the projector can be placed very close to the wall. For a 2 m wide image, the projector only needs to be 122 cm away from the screen. A smartphone with an MHL connection can be connected directly to the MHL/HDMI port and transmit a 1080p / 60 Hz image mirroring (screen mirroring) while the smartphone is being charged at the same time. Playing 1080P and 3D is also no problem for the projector. It was launched on the market in 2014 and is no longer offered by the manufacturer Benq.
