With the Piccolo S10, manufacturer 3M offers an LCD projector with SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast of 600:1. The projector can illuminate an image width of up to 302 cm thanks to its 1200 Ansi lumens. In room light, however, the image width should ideally be less than 201 cm. On the market since 2003, the model is no longer offered by the manufacturer 3M.

defect just before the World Cup |

Yes, the projector is really great, I have to say. The design and picture are very good. We bought it half a year ago and watched almost 250 hours of TV with it... A week ago there was a sudden bang (30 minutes after switching on)... now this bulb is already broken...which should have lasted 4000 hours :-(
We never thought it could happen so quickly... Warranty has expired - World Cup has started...and now we have to shell out the money for a new bulb...
Only 80 out of 100 points to award here

I‘ve had the projector for two weeks and am very satisfied. The technical data is quite convincing and with a lamp life of 4000 hours in still (eco) mode, it‘s worth buying, no one else can do it. I was told by 3M that these are not approximate values but realistically measured values, as the patented disk in front of the lens provides better illumination and at the same time extends the life of the lamp. The lamp is also considerably cheaper as a spare part than others in the same performance class. As a second plus, a volume level of only 27dB (silent mode) is not disturbing when projecting at room volume. The room does not have to be darkened, the colors are very balanced. I bought the projector and can only recommend it, especially as a bag with a wide range of accessories (UK and USA mains plug cable) allows plug and play. One fly in the ointment is the missing lens cap, which could have been included. But even then it only gets 90 points.
